Challenge YOUrself plus sketches in Thyme.

At Challenge YOUrself there is a patriotic mood board.

Because I'm not American I took it as a red, white and blue challenge with stars and stripes.

I managed to find a starfish which became my "token star", No other stars to be found anywhere in my stash. I used various scraps of paper plus some metallic cardboard as my longest strip.

The road signs are putting a humorous spin on my layout. I was leaving hospital after 12 days of recovering from Knee surgery. I used a stop sign but wrote "don't" above the stop.

This is my last layout documenting my hospital stay. I'm glad to get it done.

By the way, I used a sketch from "Sketches in Thyme".

I really enjoyed your take on our Mood Board challenge, Julene. I love how you documented your surgery and hospital stay through your scrapbook pages, and I like how you used humor on your page as well. Your take on the Sketches in Thyme sketch is perfect! Thanks so much for joining us this month at Challenge YOUrself. I'm so glad you did!
