The sewing layout containing about $30 worth of embellishments.
The flairs are from Funky Flairs, the chipboard dress mannequin is from WOW ,the wood veneer sewing machine is Kaisercraft, the tag was sent to me in a swap, the tap measure was my sisters from High school days, the cream lace was on a childhood dress, the canvas resist flower is Prima (I think).
Everything is from this month's Counterfeit Kit.
I'm entering it on Use your stuff where anything goes.
I certainly have used some stuff on this. I even embroidered.
And now for some photos, the last one being the layout.
My daughter has a little alcove/bookshelf halfway up her stairs.
She has arranged this display in the alcove using vintage items from my mother's stash and other sources. I think of Mum when I walk past it.

Adorable little cove of vintage sewing bits. Cute layout. I love the pins in this!
Love the sewing embellies here. Love it!
What a perfect way to memorialize your daughter's display and how cool that you used embellishments with such personal history!
What a creative way to display her momentos.
I especially like how your paper looks like torn fabric! A great touch.
