Scraplift from Kaisercraft site.
This is a layout by Michelle Grant on the Kaisercraft website here
I went there to find inspiration on how to use the Blue Bay papers.
I'm not copying it exactly but the torn edges, layering and lace have been duplicated.
One of my layers is a white brick wall from the Base Coat collection.
I've added antique lace from my great grandmother's stash plus an offcut of braid that Mum had.
There are also lace daisies from my sister's wedding dress. A family contribution you might say.
The scrunched bows were a prize from a card site last year.
I remember this day well. I had taken Erica to have her portrait done and she wouldn't smile.
Her Dad turned up in his lunch hour from work to meet us and suddenly she beamed.
Love this photo!

This is beautiful - much softer and prettier than the original I think! And a very sweet story to go along with it too.
Such a pretty page. I love the story about her smiling at the sight of her daddy!
Beautiful. Such a sweet story.

such sweet inspiration for a sweet photo!
awwww! Sometimes it is the Dads who have the magic touch...but only SOMETIMES! Lol! Loving all the lace you have added here. So perfect for this kit.
Love the sweet nostalgic feel you've created here - lovely.
I am thinking I may scraplift this, with all the lace in my kit this month!
Oh, what a dear story to go with this special photo & page.
Your artistry really does it justice :-)
