July Counterfeit Kit.

Here is the original kit Blue Bay from Kaisercraft.

Scrapabilly Kit März 2015

I've gone the opposite to rogue and conformed totally!
I bought the original papers, plus some of the embellishments.

Here is my kit

The 12 papers from the kit

Plus these extra papers
My alphas. The original kit has white but I find them hard to use on a page, so I opted for colours instead.

My embellishments.
I've used the "start with paint" idea again. It works.
Note the wooden doors, which match one paper exactly.
I've used bling arrows as there are arrows in the original kit.

My tags

And keen observers might notice a theme going on.

A special welcome to Julie, our guest designer this month.

Now here's the order of the blog hop.

A true rebel! Rather than going off track, you've thrown us all off the scent by not going rogue whatsoever! How much fun is that! A great add on of papers and alphas and I love all the embellies you've included. Lots of sewing stuff I see so I'm interested to see what you create with those - sewing has been on my mind a lot recently...

Fantastic! And, I have that Pink Paislee paper with the tree out on my counter. It's half the way fancy cut out, (but an outlining cutout). I might have throw that into my kit so that I actually use it. :) Well, at least it will contribute to my efforts. But, I'm rambling - sorry. I had to laugh at Lisa's comments. You have done a beautiful job at conforming. Your embellishments have me especially interested. I look forward to what you will create with this kit.

I am with you Julene. I own the Blue Bay Collection and I have been saving it for a special time to scrapbook. So will use my collection too. I just got back from Maui so seems like the perfect time to me.

Such great additions to your kit - it really is a beautiful collection! And why not just start what you what you already love and make it a little better, right? I like how you use paint to guide your embellishment choices. That's the hardest part for me so I'll try to remember that for next time.

I sometimes feel like I'm "cheating" if I have the exact supplies as is in the inspiration. It is so silly...really. You loved it enough to buy it and now you have supplemented it with other great supplies from your stash. It's all good in CKC!
