The first challenge was to use a frame,3 pp and hand journaling

The second was to use a single sheet of patterned paper and chipboard.
I've inked a WOW chipboard flourish with a crimson colour and added FWAB pearls.

Do-it -yourself flair buttons & scrapping everyday miracles

First I started with these Prima Epoxy dots
They can be placed on a layout to highlight something.
Never being one to waste anything, I used pictures from an old diary of gardens/flowers.

Then I carefully cut around the edges, leaving floral circles.

And a close up

Now I've used 2 large and 3 small on this layout for Scrapping Everyday Miracles where the sketch was this

The theme was friends forever and I certainly made a few at Camp Mojo.
How clever was it that these ladies wore the exact colours to match the paper?

2 more cards-Christmas card challenges and Jingle Belles

2 more cards, one slightly smaller than the other.
The one on the left is for Christmas card challenges where the challenge is no colouring.

The one on the right features gingerbread man paper (OLD) with the scalloped circle & pearl(NEW) and is for Jingle Belles.

Simon Says stamp & Card Makin' Mommas

The challenge at Simon Says Stamp was to use blues.
I tidied out a few desk drawers yesterday and found some stuff I could recycle for scrapbooking.
These 2 cards are made from a manilla folder cut to card size.
I used old ring reinforcements which had lost their stickiness and scattered them across the 2 cards.
Next I misted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in turquoise.Tipping off the rings, they left circles.
Over that I then used a "memory" stamp. I purposely left a space in the middle.
Next I've used a birdcage

and on the second one a flower left from Kaisers Chapter One collection . This will be for Card Makin Mommas where the theme is "Anything goes"

Pixels and paper challenge

One of my DT members from Archiscraps is Jane Howden.

Jane runs 2 sites Artastic and Pixelsandpaperchallenge.
The theme there is a fountain with kids running in it
.

Well, I didn't have any kids in fountain photos, so resorted to my Europe photos..........yes after 4 years I'm still scrapping them!
I remembered Paris and the large fountain in the Place De Concorde.
So here's my layout with a nod to the "layers" in the photo.
I've included a sun in the top corner too.
(I swear I put those alphas on straight! Unfortunately I can't restick them :(  )

Feeling Sketchy & Shopping our stash

It has been hot here today but there is a gentle breeze blowing in the craft room window, so I've been making cards.

The latest sketch for Feeling Sketchy and my interpretation

I discovered recently that I have too many laces etc so expect an inundation!
***********
Next is 'Shopping our stash" which had a similar motive to Counterfeit Kits.
ie using up stuff in your own stash.
Their theme is to use the last of something.
I had the packaging only from a packet of flair buttons (Fancy Pants), so it became my background.
The 2 red leaves have been hanging around since Christmas card making and on they went.
The cuckoo clock is cut from an old picture dictionary(recycling)

I thought it could be a welcome home or a new home card.

The shabby tea room

The shabby tea room's colour challenge was kraft, black and white/cream.
I started with a remnant of a Graphic 45 paper, then used the cut out pieces reverse side for the cream & black floral. I've added a 7 Gypsies Sentiment plus vintage lace and pearls.
In a way this is a collage card, but I think it works.

I'm noticing about 15 people a day look at my posts but don't comment. It would be nice to hear from you, even a few words.
