Sketches in Thyme.

 Here's my last layout for this month using my Counterfeit Kit. It is using a sketch at Sketches in Thyme.

I had these 2 photos of kookaburras sitting on our street sign so made the bottom photo part of the title.

I've used the last of the rub-ons, 3 tickets, a tassel, enamel dots, plus a mix of word types in my title.

CKC Challenge #3

 

Here is a sketch from Paper Issues that forms the challenge #3at Counterfeit Kit Challenge.

I chose a paper featuring sunglasses from my kit. I then cut offcuts from my earlier layouts plus a couple of co-ordinating strips of paper to do my second layer. I used a large title I had plus smaller rub-ons as my words.

AS embellishments I used a crochet embellishment I won recently plus some Autumn Lane flowers. I then glued a wood veneer sewing machine and dressmaker's model in my cluster plus smaller Prima flowers. There's a strip of ribbon down the right-hand edge as well.

Scraproom layouts X 2

 

Here's 2 layouts I did for The Scraproom group. The first had to use items with the letters in WEB. I used W= wood veneers, wine E= enamel dots B=bling, bands of colour.

The second was for Freaky Fast Formula. I kept it simple but used more of the rub-ons I put in my kit.

Black Magic Sketches

 

Here's the sketch at Black Magic Sketches this month.

I used 2 more papers from my Counterfeit kit.

I also used 2 tickets plus a tag, the pearl flourishes, twine, some washi and 2 rub-ons.

Path of Positivity card

 We are asked to make a seasonal card using nontraditional colours at Path of Positivity Challenge.

I've made a Christmas card using browns and golds.

I'm sure it will be appreciated by someone. 

Seize the birthday

 This morning, I have made a card for Seize the birthday. The theme is splish splash.

I got out my silky crayons. You colour with the crayon first, then use a water paint brush to spread the coloured paint. I created a pond for my swan to sit in and shelter her cygnets. After fussy cutting the picture, I adhered it to the card then added my sentiment. It will be given to a teaching friend on her 60th birthday.

 

2 layouts

 I'm having a busy month as I'm going on a cruise soon. Preparing for it takes time.

I've made 2 layouts over the past couple of days.

I had this colour challenge at Soul Scrappers, so I made this one.

A close up on the buckle and the smiling face on the circle.

My other layout was a scraplift from the "Not just for boys" kit page.

I used the paper that I forged for FOTF. Again, I used lots of items from my kit on here.

See that white paper with circled plus signs?  I've decided to forge it!

I hand drew circles around each plus sign and created this.

ABC Christmas challenge

 At ABC Christmas challenge they want S is for stockings or T is for trees.

I've chosen stockings and found this cute picture of a koala in a Christmas stocking. After fussy cutting it I mounted it on green wood background paper and added my sentiment in the corner. It will make a lovely Aussie surprise for somebody.
