sketch 'n' scrap sketch

 

This is one of the May sketches at Sketch 'n' scrap.

I had these 2 photos and decided to use them despite one being landscape.

Erica always makes a game out of hiding if I take out the camera to get a photo.

This was at Easter hence the chicken on her t shirt. After doing the basic parts of the layout, I added a joker playing card and a sticker saying Wild child,

I used chevron washi tape as my dividing strip. And kept to the yellow and black combo, except for the title.

Use those scraps at CKC.

 The challenge I have this month is using those scraps.

At Paper Issues I saw this layout.

I only had small scraps, but they suited the above layout.

 This time there is a tic tac toe.

I went across the top row.

There are 3 patterned papers. Twine is wound around the flair button top right of photo and the tag is on the left.

I rather like grey and yellow together and enjoyed making this layout.

Krafty Chics and Neglected stuff

 The challenge at Krafty Chics is masculine.

I'm using up smaller bits and pieces and found matching tag, strip and paper. 

I constructed this card for a friend who turns 75 soon.

I'm also entering it at Neglected stuff challenge because the tag and strip are from a TLC sheet I have had for several years.

I made this card using a scrap from the previous layout. It was a tan/rust colour so I paired it with pale blue and added a neutral flower. There is a brown brad in the centre and an orange sentiment.

I have a few birthday people in June so this will be handy.

{Cupcake Inspirations} has a challenge involving trees

I dug into my green scraps bag and found this group of palm trees. 

I used 2 other scraps to make my background. The thin strip on the right had a tropical look I thought.

This card will go to a neighbour who is heading off to far north Queensland .

Sketch 'n' scrap birthday bash.

 This morning, I worked on a sketch from Sketch n scrap. It was for their 13th birthday bash.

I drove for 2 hours each way to meet up with my daughter for Mother's Day. 

We met in a restaurant named Roses.

On this layout I used brown tones for a nice change. I was in an autumn mood. I even popped a leaf on here. I used stickers from Cocoa Vanilla " Great Escape" range.

I'm happy with how this turned out.

Freaky fast formula

 I've finished my Counterfeit kit for this month so I'm doing challenges at The scraproom. 

This one is for Freaky Fast formula.

I used pink as my theme and went with it.

I'm so pleased to use that owl paper. It was an offcut I've had for around 15 years. I layered the other 2 11-inch strips.

I added motivational words to my layout.
