Farmquest

We are asked to use a woodland animal starting with R.at Farmquest.

I've gone for the obvious Reindeer.

My background was made by mixing paint and gesso together then after applying it I dragged a plastic fork through it. This gave the texture. Next, I drew the reindeers face. I attached chipboard flourishes as antlers. The nose is a small chipboard circle painted.

My sentiment says "Deer me."

I used yellow paper plus flowers with some lace down the right -hand side.
I've also added yellow enamel dots.

CKC Challenge #3.

This challenge was a sketch. Here it is.

I have scrapped another photo of the Tamarins at Mogo Zoo.

I used a patterned paper from my kit plus yellow cardstock. The green circles are chipboard I painted green. Behind the photo I used a scrap of dotted paper then purple vellum. The vellum matches the purple mist I drizzled on my page. I used a vellum frame that says You and Me.

The small yellow square is an offcut and I put the word "cherish" over the frame. My title says sweet, because they were such cute animals.

Li'l red wagon

For my next card I have used neutrals. Li'l red wagon  has asked we make a neutral coloured item.

Hope you like it!

Freshly made sketches

Freshly made sketches  has given us this sketch this week.

I've made mine a Christmas card.

Firstly, I fussy cut around a previous Christmas card to get the Santa bauble.

I put my green cardstock through the cuttlebug using swiss dots.

I measured and cut my rectangles, then positioned the bauble in the corner. I used a brad to adhere it to my card.

My sentiment is right at the top and says "You make my heart smile".

Sketches in Thyme.

Sketches in Thyme had this sketch

I've had a photo of a building in Venice sitting on my desk for ages, so I decided to use this sketch.

I've used 3 flowers from scrappers garden plus 3 Kaisercraft brads and a black tassel. The strips behing the photo are all scraps and one was suede paper. The actual base paper suited the photo I thought.

I'm happy with how this one turned out.

Tassels on cards (A perfect time to craft)

This morning, I made 3 cards to use some black tassels I have here.

The chipboard tags have an arty look and are quite busy, so I left the background fairly plain.

Being number cards, I'm sure they will sell well.

I'm entering these at A perfect time to craft, where anything goes.
