A close friend recently gave me a collection of papers and cardstock. In amongst it was quite a few pre-cut pieces of card that could be used to make cards. 

I've used one of those for this Christmas card. The background is white. 

Aud sentiments and Shopping our stash

 At Aud sentiments they want a shaped card with washi tape.

I made a tractor shaped card by cutting around the wheels at the bottom. The card actually stands on those 4 wheels. I chose "born to be wild" as my sentiment as it is for a 4-year-old boy who never sits still. 

The black and white chevron washi can be seen under the sentiment.

As a finishing touch I inked 3 tiny butterflies and added those. 

At Shopping our stash they want a wild animal. I chose a giraffe.

I found the background paper in my scrap bag and it reminded me of a giraffe. I had a chipboard giraffe, so I inked it in brown then coloured it's spots with a gel pen in gold. 

Use your stuff and others

 At Use your stuff they want a vintage card.

I had a scrap of Graphic 45 paper so used it as the background and feature on this card. I fussy cut out the lady then adhered her over the top. The tape measure strip was from another scrap I had. My sentiment covers many occasions, I think.

My second card is for a couple of challenges. Firstly, for Try it on Tuesday where the theme is let's go outdoors. 

I made the tag a little while ago but finished it off with the ribbon before putting on the card. It will be a good Bon Voyage card or for a surfing boy. 

Paperminutes wants seashells so I can enter it there as well.

I used a mini kit I was given, including ribbons etc. The 2 photos were on Facebook and I copied them because I like architecture. They've been hanging around, so I decided to do a layout. everything seemed to match on here.

Li'l Red wagon

I've made this card while my washing is being done. (Multi tasking!) 

The theme at Li'l red wagon is bicycles. I used a die cut chipboard piece from Prima St Tropez range on a neutral grey background. The row of rainbow flowers adds some "zing" to the card, I think.

I've used fancy pants paper to make this colourful card.

I also was top 3 for last time with my musical card.

 At a recent crop day, I was given a set of papers and matching ribbons etc. I've used one sheet to make these 5 cards. I had the misted canvas shapes and wanted to finish them up.
