Challenge #1 CKC Sketch and the flower challenge card.

 At Counterfeit Kit Challenge we were given this sketch

Here's my interpretation.

I followed the sketch closely and used Kraft as my background. I matted on vellum then a Kaisercraft whisper for my main paper. The other 2 papers, top and bottom are scrap paper strips. My stitching is in pale pink thread. The black circle is a beer coaster that actually came from Norfolk Island and the journal tag was also Kaisercraft.

I used 2 stick-on brad dots because they matched the photos, especially the one that resembled passionfruit. The leaves also colour match well. "Gather here" is an offcut from Simple stories

I also made this card for The flower challenge where they want a sentiment and a f'lower.

I used traditional Christmas colours on here.

Freaky fast formula

 At the scraproom group is Freaky Fast Formula.

Using my counterfeit kit, I cut the smallest strips from book paper. The circle was the middle of a doily and one of the 2 larger pieces features ropes. The other is a cream and gold neutral piece.

All this added up to a neutral background which sets off the 2 photos.

I added a banner I bought. I think it is Fancy Pants.

Sweet sketch Wednesday

 

AT Sweet sketch Wednesday I found this sketch. I adapted it tall thin cards.

I used a couple of matching scraps for the 2 narrow panels.

I'm also entering this at The holly and the ivy challenge where anything Christmas goes.

Again, I made a Christmas card. 

Jingle Belles rock and Time out

 At Jingle Belles rock and at time out challenges there is a pink Christmas challenge for Breast cancer awareness.

Sadly, I now have another friend going through chemo and radiation for cancer.

So, here's my card. I'm still making tall cards because of envelope availability.

My elf is wearing a pink hat and there is pink ribbon on the card as well as the background.

Christmas card throwdown

 

This card is for Christmas card throwdown. and Send a smile for kids.(The card is cute enough for Children)

I used the same tree paper as my background then added a huge brad that matches. Next, I hung a wooden plaque saying X-mas from the brad. I mounted a picture of a bear on white and put it underneath.

Hence my card is "Bear in the forest " themed. Perhaps I should send it to a Canadian friend. 

Lisa and Lori card one and Alphabet challenges.

Alphabet challenge is N for nature. I'm getting a start on my Lisa and Lori kit with this card.

As it includes trees, I think it qualifies as nature.

Next card is for Freshly Made sketches. 

This time I'm using red.

Using Counterfeit kit papers etc from my kit I made this

The pink items were not in the kit, so flowers, paperclip, pink thread, and alphas were added extras. I'm pleased I used the chipboard "adorable" which I also painted pink.

 More than words their mini challenge is "magical". I made a tag using misting through a lace doily then added a Graphic 45 fairy plus a vellum quote. I finished it with tiny white pearls.

I'm also entering this at Inkspirational where it is fantasy themed. They also want us to use stencils, which I have.
