Over at City Crafter challenge blog we are scraplifting (or card lifting).

Naughty or Nice challenge & Feeling sketchy
http://naughtyornicechallenge.blogspot.com.au/ wants 3 of something.
I've made a 1st Birthday card which features 3 strips of paper across the middle.
At the end of each strip I've adhered a button, so 3 buttons as well.
The background paper came free in a magazine years ago so I'm pleased to use it.
At Feeling sketchy this is their sketch
This subdued card is based on that sketch, however my sentiment is fitted between the semi circles as it is small. I felt it would be lost on the strip down the left hand side.

I've also found crafting when we can challenge wants animals
I used a wood veneer penguin I had.
Freshly made sketches
My next card is for Freshly Made Sketches.I've used some stickers from October afternoon on this card for a little girl.
It is nice and bright . I've used a Date: tag instead of a sentiment, the idea being the giver can write the birthday date on it.

I'm starting off this month with a card. It is for Cardz4guyz.
The theme was in the country. I searched through my embellishments and papers and the closest I had was a giraffe!
So I've gone with trees and I added 2 butterflies and a cute hedgehog from Sassafrass lass, that I fussy cut around. Hope that is country enough.
