Here is the sketch at BOYZ RULE.
I've used the October Afternoon Seaside :Harbour paper from my stash plus some rub ons, brown alphas and brads that resemble screw heads on my layout.
One of the layers is old book paper which I have distress inked to make it more grungy/boyish.
Thanks for looking. It is in the Flicker gallery.

Picture this challenge
At Picture this challenge we asked to use a sunburst (which I've done with yellow ink through a mask), use 1 photo and paint.
At Shopping our stash we are asked to use something new.
I received this bling package in a swap YESTERDAY.
I've used them as an extension of the beam of light in the photo.
The other new thing is We R Memory Keepers large eyelet saying sweetness..
There is a story behind this layout (of course).
When Carolyn & Erica were little I took a photo of them.
Over Carolyn was a beam of light, probably a fault on the film (yes FILM!).
We always said it was Carolyn being abducted by aliens.
When Erica took this photo of Carolyn in New York recently, the shaft of sun beamed across Carolyn. She showed me the photo at home & said... "Here's Carolyn getting abducted by aliens again".
I've used 2 alien brads I've had for ages plus some chippy brackets painted with pink metallic paint.

Scrap much and That's crafty
http://shopscrapmuch.blogspot.com.au/ has this sketch

Then I remembered I had already made this one using strips

So I'm adding to it to create my entry for Scrap Much.
Please ignore the bent corner.
I'm also entering it on That's crafty challenges where the criteria is blue.
I spy a squirrel do you?

Mojo Monday and using leftovers plus packaging.
Because I sell my cards to raise money for charity I get my money's worth out of everything I can and if I can recycle that is even better!
The above is this weeks sketch for Mojo Monday , but first let's see what I've used.
Here are 4 cardboard packaging pieces.
I folded the bottom spotted one so that the spots are on the inside.
Next I covered the outside with pale blue paper.
Here's the finished "Gratitude" card for a male.
I've used 4 scraps of card & book paper from my Counterfeit Kit plus a tag, loop and hatpin.
Next I've used the black packaging with the cut out circle.
I've pasted the floral bits from the other packaging over the hole.
By adding another circle and a strip with a flair badge, I have another thank you card.
Those white marks are on my scanner, not the card.
I'm off to clean the glass now!!!
Stuck on U sketches

While most of the ladies on this design team at Stuck on U sketches are scrapping mid winter layouts, I'm sitting here sweltering with mid 30s centigrade temperatures. That is nearly 100 on the farenheit scale!
So, I've used a Cosmo Cricket paper from my Counterfeit Kit, plus a packet of Kaisercraft Collectables named Tropical Punch.
That took me to this photo, taken on a holiday last year.
I've matted on old bookpaper first then run a strip of floral washi tape underneath the photo.
Next I started layering the collectables and used pop dots for height on some items.
The quote and the word, BLISS sum up that holiday.
