Color Throwdown 309

I've used all items from this month's Counterfeit Kit to create this card.
The above palette appeals as my colours are there.

The American Crafts rosette casts a shadow in the scanner.

I've chosen not to put a sentiment on the card as I'm not sure what I will use it for yet.

Let's get shabby goes woody

Over at Let's get shabby the challenge is wood.

I saw this in a Kaisercraft magazine and tore it out, meaning to do a scraplift one day.
It is by Shirley Towan.
Well the time has come.
I chose papers from Kaisercraft Base coat range featuring wood, plus a studio calico wooden camera.
My photo is of an old wooden jetty at sunset.
This was taken a few months ago on the north coast of NSW.

For the shabby, I have used antique lace, denim flower with rhinestone button and a denim flower pocket.
I've also added a few flowers plus a kaisercraft flourish.

Look at my grandmothers yummy antique lace. I will be sad when that runs out!

and here's my scraplifted layout

Unscripted sketches

septsketch1

The challenge is to make a project life style card for our project life album.

I have used the packaging from Fancy Pants designs pieces as my background, plus some items from my Counterfeit Kit.
I turned the sketch on its side.

Feeling Sketchy

Card Sketch 100

The card sketch at Feeling Sketchy has inspired another Christmas Card.

I've cut strips of patterned paper then added a branch from Scrapmatts.
It looked lonely by itself so I added some liquid pearls to give it a frosty look.

The dirty mark is on the scanner which I'm cleaning right now. LOL

Lessology Travel theme

I made this layout named "Travel broadens the arms" for Lessology.
First I hand drew a tree minus the foilage.
Then I cut circles and added buttons.(upcycled items)

Luckily I had a strip of paper featuring clouds so used that for the sky then created a wavy landscape using scraps of another blue paper. I added a scrapmatts black fence and cat then inked the scrapmatts word"Travel" for the title.
The photo was at Stonehenge of course.

Use your stuff

I originally made this layout for Scrap365 but when I arrived there to upload, I discovered I already had uploaded a layout for that challenge. Silly me!!

So it fits with the challenge at Use your stuff which is to use brads. There are 3 blue square brads which have been in my stash for ages.
I love the colours on this layout.

Inky pink at One layer simplicity.

One Layer Simplicity has a challenge for something square.

I chose a chevron mask and applied sticky tape across it to form a 4.5cm square.

Using 2 different coloured pink inks, I have made a chevron square in the centre of this card.

and over at CHRISTMAS CARD CHALLENGES anything goes. Here's my card
