Sketch 'n'scrap blingy card

This is the sketch



I had a bag of diamente shapes that someone had given me.
Keeping with the same colour scheme as the sketch, I have created this card.

Jingle Belles with a header

Here is the header for the Jingle Belles web site.

We are asked to use it for inspiration to make a card this month.





I was in the bathroom when I noticed that the wrapping paper on these gift soaps resembled the blog header in a way.

I have made a very early Christmas card for my sister using one of the soap wrappers.
I added pearls and a chipboard "SISTER" word to my card.
Her favourite colour is purple so this will fit the bill nicely.

Sketch 'n'scrap #60.

I loved this sketch when I saw it on Sketch'n'scrap and have used some Counterfeit Kit on it as well.



I found the MME Chalk Studio stickers and worked it around those.
I quite like the black look it has.
Over the Domino Washi tape I have adhered a Heidi Swapp acetate title.
The coffee quote was from Kaisercraft I think.

When we were in Vancouver for 4 days we kept going back to this coffee shop for meals and to plan our next move on our adventures.

Ruby's Rainbow- summertime treats

The challenge at Ruby's rainbow is summertime treats.

Using more of Bella Boulevarde from my Counterfeit Kit, I've made a card

The treat for me is going to a beach.(I'm lactose intolerant so ice creams are out)
I based it around that theme although it is a travel card as well.

Seize the Birthday-Use twine

This week on Seize the Birthday the theme is to use twine,

I started with a silver card with a punched heart edge.
Using items from my Counterfeit Kit I have made a card featuring a turquoise panel with twine across the front.
The lined background and alphas are from Bella Boulevarde.

ColorThrowdown #301

The colours at  Color throwdown this week appealed to me.
When checking my stocks, I realised I need to replenish cards for mothers.



The picture and colours on this certainly recall my mother.
I had no grey so have used silver for inking the chipboard pieces.
I've used black lettering for my sentiment.

Let's capture our memories card #80

Here is the card sketch at Let's capture our Memories for #80.
I've gone bright and colourful with my card.
I used Bella Boulevarde paper featuring large polkadots.
Over one polkadot I used a matching scalloped edge sticker.(Where the butterfly is on the sketch)
Next I used some Heidi Swapp pennant flags.
The sentiment says "One can never have too much of one thing"
The card is pink background.
