Mojo Monday #284

Mojo Monday #284 had this sketch

I've been very economical and used a picture that I printed out of some ladies having tea & chatting. It was when my printer was running low on ink so it came out blue with a striped effect that looked like venetian blinds.
The picture forms the RHS with other blue papers as the extras.I've added rhinestones as a final touch and the sentiment I think matches the picture.
Here it is

Feeling Sketchy Challenge #50

Flutterby Wednesday #230

The criteria for Flutterby Wednesday this fortnight was anything goes, so long as it has a butterfly or fairy.
I'm currently making cards for an upcoming stall, so created a congrats! card using leftover papers.I hand drew a tiny black butterfly in the forest.Hope you like my card.I thought it can be male or female.

Color Throwdown CTD232

Here's my card for Color Throwdown CTD232 and it is based on this swatch.
The bow on the card is banana yellow. My scanner has faded the colours.

Guinness at Sassy Scrappers

I've used a plastic doiley with paint dabbed through it in green shades for my background.
As you can see the original paper is golf themed.I then added my photo mats also in greens with 2 shades of brown and gold ribbon as my horizontal stripes...to match the barrels.
I've also strategically placed washi tape and the bird to cover up golf words as well.
The alphas are also shades of green and the whole thing is Guiness's slogan.Hope you like it!

Counterfeit Kits challenge #2 -3 papers on one layout

Actually, there is 4 pp from my Counterfeit Kit in this layout. I like the way the metallic one at the back goes with the Cash Register.I've used Memory Maze chipboard Autumn Swirl SO574 inked in gold as part of my embellishment.
Hill End is a gold mining town near Bathurst, NSW and it has been preserved for people to visit and children's excursions. The museum has old relics from the 1850s including the telephone and the cash register.
I've also entered this layout for a challenge on Mystical Scrapbooks.http://www.mysticalscrapbooks.com.au/

White with one and dreaming cat.

Here's my layout for March's White with One.
I received the Kaisercraft wooden birdcages,as a prize, from Lizzy Crust in the post this week,so I decided to use them on this.I started by misting through a chicken wire mask, then beside that used gesso through the same mask.
While the gesso was still wet I inserted the 2 wooden birdcages.
I added pearl chain purposely looping it through the loop on the cage. The other loop broke off.
After adding the papers and trims I wanted I've doodled birds flying away from the cages, with bubbles to look like Tuppence was dreaming about them. The only thing I couldn't re-create is the twitches the cat made while dreaming.
