Here is my gold trimmed Christmas Card for papercraft star.I've used corrugated card, gold and white braid and a scrapmatts sleigh with "peace on Earth" as my sentiment inked in green. The braid slipped up at the LH corner under the scanner but is now glued on straight.

Show us your stuff
My layout for Show us your stuff this month features Jonathan holding a family heirloom...fat santa. He(santa) has been in our family for about 50 years.
I've used Kaisercraft's Tudor papers again, and concentrated on maroon for the other pps.I machine stitched the zigzags on the corrugated card to match the other paper and the flower, made from an old fabric scrap,is my handiwork too.

stuck on us sketches and Scrap for help
These are 2 new blogs I've discovered.
I used the sketch for stuck on us sketches but also incorporated a paper bag and string thereby qualifying for scrap for help as well.
The maroon paper bag was found in a motel bathroom(I'll let you work out its original purpose),but it struck me as a good size for layouts.I border punched the open edge.
The range of papers are by Kaisercraft and named Tudor.
I've used baker's twine from Purple Pumpkin(ie string).
The flower embellishments were cut from parts of the paper you can't see and in the case of the larger one mounted on maroon paper to stand out.
The lettering is American Crafts Do-it-yourself thickers which are sticky on both sides, hence made it easy to cover with the paper.
Our room in Milan had a view of the square near the castle and in these photo's Erica was contemplating a walk ,then went off to explore.

bird is the word and a breath of celtic.
While on our travels around Ireland we visited Glendalough near Dublin where the tower was built in 1170.It can be seen in the top photo shaped like a pencil. The Celtic graves cover a huge area and hark back to those times. It is a fascinating place. Both of us felt an atmosphere of history,or a breath of the past hence my layout.
I've used a map of Europe from an old encyclopaedia and coloured Ireland in green(what else?).
The 3 tags are misted using Sugar maple and the Twiddlybits Celtic knot has been treated with rusting powder.I've also added bakers twine,a clock face and a ticket for my journalling.

ISSC#44 at I spy sketches
The sketch this week is this
and so I've chosen to go non-Christmas with this one. Here's my effort
It is a grey day outside so I will add that the yellow/primrose card and floral background is much brighter. There are 2 strips of fibre around the top and I've chosen to hang a gold locket charm from the yellow one.Hope you like it!
