Let's get sketchy

This is the January sketch at Let's get sketchy.
The first thing I noticed was lots of lovely layering. This suits me!

I've chosen to use the BO BUNNY Petal Lane paper that started off my kit collection.
The photo is of a lobster dinner that we had on Prince Edward Island.
Memorable because it was freshly caught and our table at the restaurant overlooked the wharf and view of the sea.

I have layered several co-ordinating papers including a coaster, as well as white mesh to resemble the fishing nets. One piece of paper features anchors too.
On top of the net I used 2 tiny blue and white flags and sewed 3 tiny striped fish.
These all suggest the sea theme.

Here's the finished layout ,complete with journaling.
