Frilly and Funky

The challenge at Frilly and Funky is air mail.
When sorting through I found a set of Air mail envelopes so decided to use one on this card.
It became the second layer of 5 and provided contrast for the neutrals that followed.
I added cream lace along the edge of the patterned paper then added my sentiment and finally a cloth "stamp" featuring a biplane.
I'm imagining someone overseas in the 1920s sending this back to their sweetheart.

Perhaps it was Phryne Fisher and Inspector Jack Robinson.
