The Monday challenge at Simon says stamp is Coffee and Tea.
It just so happens I had in mind to do a layout this month about my down time and thing I like to do best is puzzles, especially word puzzles.
It is a tradition started by my grandmother, followed on by my mother then down to me.
It keeps my brain active.
I make myself a cup of coffee or tea, grab an accompanying biscuit and sit down for around 30-45 minutes. It might look like an ad for Take 5 magazine, but that isn't the purpose.
I started this page by using walnut ink in a saucer to stamp circles or coffee cup stains on my page.
Next, I lightly stamped using a Kaisercraft "Moments" stamp.
Then I added all the other ingredients, including antique lace that matches the doiley in the photo.
I've straightened that lace now.

Love your coffee stains! Fun page.
ReplyDeleteCute layout, love the background you created

ReplyDeleteLove the coffee rings - nice page.
ReplyDeleteThose coffee stains are great - I feel like I'm looking down at your desk or table while you work on your puzzles.
ReplyDeleteL-O-V-E this peek into your daily routine! I do Sudoku puzzles to keep sharp, but used to do lots of crosswords, word searches, etc. I like that you echoed the lace in your photo on the page.
ReplyDeleteMeant to say I have a coffee cup on my scrap desk that makes the PERFECT coffee ring stamper tool!
